Communication Process

The communication process includes three very distinct roles. When we talk about communication, it’s not uncommon for people to immediately think “presentation” or “talking.” However, we are also communicating while we are asking and listening. Think about the messages you give off when you are asking thought-provoking questions versus simple yes/no questions. Think about about he perceptions you are creating when you allow distractions to prevent you from listening. We tend to be good tellers in the communication process, but need to focus on our asking and listening skills.
